SUBJECT: NORTHAG SECTOR 1 / BALTAP DEFENSE FORCES

1. Attached is the new edition of the units assigned to the defense of NORTHAG Sector 1 and BALTAP Sector LANDJUT, as per OPLAN 4102 revised July 15th, 1985.

2. Hostilities with Warsaw Pact are expected to start within the next 72 hours.

3. Any change to the previously standing orders and SoP must be planned and executed within the next 24 hours, reducing time-consuming standard procedures to a minimum whenever needed.

    Looking great! I did have a question though about the US 2AD. Where are the rest of them? Off map to the west, or CONUS? Will they arrive to FH during the time constraints of the scenarios?

    The rest of 2AD is in the US, it will never get in the sector within the time constraints. Also, US III Corps would have been assigned to AFCENT strategic reserve.

      Hi Fabrizio. I am curious what REFORGER units are assumed to have arrived in the time frame of the extended buildup scenarios for the C3 series? Iirc, it is supposed to have a week of build up. Going off of the 1985 reinforcement charts, I believe that the first follow on elements for 2nd Armored arrive on D+7ish? If so, that would make it available towards the end of the extended scenario.

      Actually, the build-up period for NATO in the C3 strategic scenario is typically 1 or 2 days, not much time for REFORGER.
      The "One Minute to Midnight" campaign, present in every C3 module, is an exception and has a build-up of 4 - 5 days, allowing some REFORGER units to arrive - basically, the whole US 4ID in the US V Corps sector.

      Ah yes, One Minute to midnight is what I was referring to I just forgot the name off the top of my head. Yeah, that would rule out anything in III Corps. Is 4th ID the only REFORGER unit in the timeframe? Maybe 1st Infantry whenever you get to making the 4th game?

    Is the 6Guard MR division from NGF in Poland be deployed in this sector or to choke Berlin?
